Yodac Ex FD40IS / SD40IS — Intrinsically Safe Stackable Modules
The Yodac EX FD40IS is a stackable, intrinsically safe LED flashing beacon designed for potentially explosive atmospheres, providing local multiple-status indication in hazardous areas. Using an 8-LED long-life array, it delivers a high-intensity flashing signal, and up to four modules can be joined in any combination of eight lens colours.
Housed in flame-retardant ABS and rated to IP65, it is ATEX/IECEx certified for gas zones 0, 1, 2 and dust zones 20, 21, 22. Simple and reliable to install, it must be powered via an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator.

IMPORTANT! This product must be used with an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator. All connections into the product must be made via a suitably rated barrier or isolator — never connect it directly to the voltage supply without a barrier in place, as this will cause permanent damage to the PCB and void the warranty. Installation and connection should only be carried out by appropriately competent and qualified personnel.
