KCD0 — Intrinsically Safe Galvanic Isolator
The KCD0-SD3-Ex1.1045 is a single-channel galvanically isolated solenoid driver that lets a safe-area signal switch an intrinsically safe solenoid valve, alarm or LED located in the hazardous area. Galvanic isolation removes the need for a dedicated intrinsically safe earth.
Loop-powered from the 24 V DC control signal, it provides a current-limited intrinsically safe output with test-pulse immunity, and is rated up to SIL 3 to IEC/EN 61508 in a compact 12.5 mm DIN-rail housing.
