YodalightEx YO3IS — Intrinsically Safe Sounder
The Yodal EX YO3IS is an intrinsically safe audible signal designed for hazardous environments, delivering up to 98dB at 1 metre for local, room or zone coverage. It offers 32 selectable tones via a DIL switch and a two-stage alarm, in a flame-retardant ABS enclosure with stainless-steel fixings and a monitoring facility.
As an IS device, it must only be powered through an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator. Connecting it without the correctly rated barrier or isolator can damage the unit and void its protection.

IMPORTANT! This product must be used with an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator. All connections into the product must be made via a suitably rated barrier or isolator — never connect it directly to the voltage supply without a barrier in place, as this will cause permanent damage to the PCB and void the warranty. Installation and connection should only be carried out by appropriately competent and qualified personnel.
