YodalightEx YL5IS Hi-Vis — Intrinsically Safe Sounder Beacon
The Yodal EX YL5IS Hi-Vis is an intrinsically safe sounder beacon designed for large hazardous-area spaces requiring enhanced visual coverage, pairing the 105dB IS sounder with a high-intensity 8-LED beacon. It retains first and second-stage sounder options, 32 DIP-selectable tones and independent or combined sounder/beacon powering through rated barriers.
Certified to ATEX and IECEx (Ex ia IIC T4) for gas zones 0, 1 and 2 and dust zones 20, 21 and 22, it maintains IP66 with a suitably rated gland fitted. Requires an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator.

IMPORTANT! This product must be used with an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator. All connections into the product must be made via a suitably rated barrier or isolator — never connect it directly to the voltage supply without a barrier in place, as this will cause permanent damage to the PCB and void the warranty. Installation and connection should only be carried out by appropriately competent and qualified personnel.
