TDE — Pneumatic Air Horns
The TDE air horns are pneumatic, non-electrical devices powered by a compressed-air supply. Built for industrial and marine environments that demand a very high sound output and a very low frequency tone, they produce the classic foghorn sound for signalling over medium to large areas.
The range offers three trumpet lengths, and the length dictates the note produced: the TDE198 sounds at 660Hz, the TDE360 at 377Hz and the TDE450 at 307Hz. The lower the frequency, the further the sound carries — so the TDE450 reaches furthest, while the shorter TDE198 delivers the highest peak output at 138dB. All three are continuously rated and operate from −30°C to +90°C.
Because they carry no electrical parts, the TDE horns need no power supply, no cabling and no electrical certification — only clean compressed air.
Typical applications: marine and shipboard, oil and gas, docks and ports, large process sites, offshore.
